| Volunteer Position Description |
Innovation Assistance is a food security program under our organization, Innovation Youth. Besides our bi-monthly Monday Solidarity Markets, we also host a volunteer-run community kitchen every Tuesday and Wednesday. We have two shifts available on both days, one from 10h-12h, and an afternoon shift from 13-15h.
Basic kitchen safety and training will be given for tasks that may include:
- Food transformation of overstock produce that will be sold at markets or distributed to the community
- Cooking specific recipes for Innovation Assistance's catering events
- Food prep (cleaning, cutting, and preserving produce) |
