Volunteer Position Description A volunteer can provide a room visit to: -help stimulate brain activity through conversations, reading, short board games/cards -reduce patient's feelings of isolation with regular weekly visits weekends or weekdays -brighten a person's day with positive interactions -allow patients to express positive and negative feelings during rehabilitation

Volunteer Position Requirements 1. Weekly availabiltiy, minimum 3 months 2. Registration with organization (interview and forms) 3. Empathy, kindness, at ease with conversation, positive approach to helping others 4. Students from all disciplines are welcome; specific disciplines applied human sciences, art education, creative art therapies, education, exercise science, journalism, music, psychology, religions and cultures, sociology, teaching English as a second language are an asset for this type of volunteer work or potential projects. 5. French, English and all languages welcome
