Concordia University's Sustainability Volunteer Program is your one-stop-shop for sustainability volunteering on campus! Benefits of participating include: a quick tutorial to support you in identifying your best fit for volunteering; easy tracking of the hours you dedicate; recognition on co-curricular record for your volunteer hours; virtual certificate recognizing time spent volunteering (for 25+ hours); and there is no time commitment required to join-- once you're signed up, pick and choose the volunteer slots and opportunities that work best for you!
This summer, we have volunteer opportunities connected to 7 gardens on the Loyola campus: the Concordia Pollinators Initiative, Hamidou Horticulture, Sankofa, People’s Potato, City Herbal Apprentice Gardens, Mind.Heart.Mouth, and CoopCultivAction. Each group has a different reason for how and what they grow, as well as scheduling.
