Auberge Transition : Shelter Maintenance

Volunteer Position Description Sorting through donations, household maintenance (sweeping, mopping, cleaning and disinfecting shared spaces…), organizing closets & cupboards and seasonal maintenance (raking leaves, shoveling snow, gardening…) If you want to help out behind the scenes; if direct contact with service-users is not something you are comfortable with, this role is perfect for you!

Additonal Application Information / Comments The shelter's address will remain confidential for safety and security reasons, it will be given upon the first scheduled training. As this is a shelter for women who have often experienced intimate partner violence from male perpetrators, only non-male identifying people will be accepted as volunteers for roles within the residence.
