Volunteer Position Description |
Volunteers are needed to assist residents in CHSLD with their meals. Due to various impairments which can include visual, cognitive and/or other physical limitations, residents often need assistance and encouragement to eat their meals. A friendly and patient volunteer can make a positive difference with how a resident experiences this important activity of daily living. Volunteers will receive training and will always assist in the presence of nursing supervision/support. Volunteers are needed for this task on all days of the week and for any of the three regular meals (breakfast, lunch or dinner). If you have about an hour per week to offer, this is a role for you! |
