Volunteer Position Description |
Language mentors for adults meet virtually or speak on the phone on a weekly basis, for up to one hour, to help them increase their French fluency and boost their confidence for the job market and workplace. As a language mentor for adults, you will support an adult who may be new to Montreal, is seeking employment or preparing to write government citizenship exams, by practicing conversational French. Scheduling is to be confirmed between the mentor and client once a match is made. Volunteers should be fluent in French, and at least one other language from English, Hebrew, Russian or Ukrainian.
