Do you want to build connections while supporting social inclusion? Parrainage Civique Montréal needs you!
Parrainage Civique Montréal offers a pairing program that creates equal friendships between volunteers, whom we call 'buddies', and our members, referred to as 'best buddies', who are adults living with intellectual disabilities and seeking support in their social participation.
Why become a buddy?
As a buddy, you commit to engaging in at least 1 activity per month with your best buddy (about 5 hours). This commitment offers great flexibility: you and your best buddy choose activities and meeting places together, whether at home, outdoors, or during events. It’s a rewarding experience that will bring you personal satisfaction, an open mind, laughter, and a new friendship!
What we offer:

· Recognition events.
· Regular follow-ups.
· A letter of recommendation after one year of volunteering.
What we’re looking for :
· A positive and open-minded person
· Someone eager to support a person in their growth.
· Demonstrated generosity of time and a sense of sharing.
