Canadian Cancer Society: Raffle ticket sales - Daffodil Ball

Volunteer Position Description The Daffodil Ball will return for its 32nd edition on Thursday, April 24 at Windsor Station in Montreal, and we would love to have your support. The Daffodil Ball has become a must-attend event for individuals and organizations supporting the cancer cause. Over $44.5M has been raised through the Ball to fund research and our support programs and services that help people affected by cancer. The Raffle Ticket Sellers will engage with guests to promote and sell raffle tickets during the event, contributing directly to fundraising that will support people living with cancer. Your friendly, persuasive manner and enthusiasm will encourage guests to participate in the raffle, creating excitement and maximizing ticket sales. The role will include the following tasks: •Sell Raffle Tickets: Approach guests at assigned tables, explain the raffle process, and encourage ticket purchases. •Provide Information: Answer any questions guests may have about the raffle, including prize details, costs, and how winners will be announced. •Manage Sales Handle the distribution of raffle tickets accurately and ensure secure processing of payments. •Promote Participation: Create excitement around the raffle and encourage guests to take part in the fundraiser. •Assist Guests: Provide a positive guest experience while assisting with any questions or issues that may arise. Training will be provided on site.
