The Native Women's Shelter of Montreal is looking for childcare volunteers to help support our clients!
At the Native Women's Shelter of Montreal, we provide a safe and supportive environment for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis women and children. Our services focus on meeting immediate needs and creating opportunities for growth through culturally informed programs.
In order to support the women in their healing journey and safe environment for the children, childcare volunteers are indispensable support.
Childcare activities include doing fun activities such as arts and crafts, organizing movie nights, homework help and other activities. Often it is supporting the childcare coordinator during the activities.
