Sponsorship and fundraising volunteers are responsible for raising money and finding sponsors and donors for HAVI’s events and projects. This position is both research and outreach-oriented. The successful candidate must be independent, hardworking, and able to research grants and opportunities. |

| Volunteer Position Requirements |
Responsibilities
• Attend bi-weekly volunteer staff meetings
• Research potential grants with Grant Connect online platform
(training will be provided)
• Research potential sponsors for our programming
• Write and submit grant applications
• Meet required grant deadlines
• Come up with new fundraising ideas
• Help plan and organize fundraising events
Desired Qualities & Skills
• Excellent organizational, teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel)
• Motivated and enthusiastic about raising new funds
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Attention to detail
